case study

Car Sharing Service

Project overview

During the 2012 edition of Adaptive Path’s 4-day UX Intensive we used a single case—designing a car-sharing service—as we proceeded through each day’s topics:

  • Design Strategy
  • Design Research
  • Service Design
  • Interaction Design

Workshop artifacts

We researched target audiences, interviewed potential users, considered the ecosystem of car ownership and rentals, brainstormed customer interactions with the system, identified and mapped service touchpoints, and prototyped mobile applications.

As you can see, this was another UX workshop keeping the demand on 3M’s Post-It division high.

Tools & methods:

  • User research
  • Personas
  • Low-fidelity sketches
  • Journey map
  • Paper prototype
